Come worship and give to the Lord the glory due His name.

Ps. 96:8

Camp Christian invites you to join us at camp for a one day camp focused on the power and importance of WORSHIP.

Meet our speaker Jim Pelley

I was born January 4, 1941 a grandson of homesteaders in Western Moffat County (Craig) and grew up on my parents cattle ranch on Black Mountain North of Craig. I attended Camp Christian back in the old army tent days. Jean and I were married in 1960 and later attended while Merv & Ruth Johnson led the church. During that time Wes Paddock, a professor at Intermountain Bible College taped all his classes so I could listen to them while haying. At age 40 I responded to a call to ministry and attended Seminary in Texas.  I served as Minister of Education at Southwest Christian Church in Ft. Worth, Texas then as minister in Arkansas, Kansas, and Vernal, Utah and retired in 2015. Jean and I have 3 children who served as missionaries in Africa, Russia, Romania and England.  They have presented us with 7 grandchildren and in turn 6 great-grandchildren.  After the passing of Merv Johnson in Meeker, our old friends Al and Roberta Wilson and Frank and Lois Sampson whom we knew and worshiped with in Craig called and asked us to come out of retirement and come to Meeker.  Our first service was April 3, 2022.

Camp will start with a quick fellowship time with coffee and donuts at 9:00 and the program will start at 9:30.

Lunch will be provided and the program will wrap up around 3:00

There is no fee for this camp but a love offering will be collected.
